My name is Sarah Bennett, and I’m the founder, author, and heart behind Preferred Ebook. For over 8 years, I’ve dedicated myself to exploring the intersections of psychology, mindset work, and holistic self-development. From trial and error in my own life, to formal study and ongoing learning, I’ve walked (and continue walking) the path I write about.
My Journey & Why This Blog Exists
My journey toward founding Preferred Ebook began during a season of burnout and emotional overwhelm. I was passionate about growth but struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, and stagnation. Over time, I discovered how small shifts in thinking, intention, and daily habits could spark deep transformation.
Driven by that personal experience, I dove into psychology, self-help literature, and behavior-change research. I tested tools on myself, journaling techniques, mindset rewrites, mindful practices, energy management, and watched how they shaped my inner world. As I shared these insights with friends and peers, I realized there was a deeper need for relatable, well-researched, human-centered self-help content. That became Preferred Ebook.
